IANO was once a dream. A quiet idea between a couple from Racha, Georgia
—who missed the flavors of home: The aromas of homemade khachapuri, the rhythm of dumpling-making in the kitchen, and the warmth of meals shared with family and friends.
After moving to Toronto, they carried with them not just memories, but a deep desire to recreate the flavors they were raised on —and to share them with their new community.
That’s how IANO came to life: a cozy corner where Georgians and
curious food lovers alike could gather, taste, and connect over authentic, homemade Georgian food.
IANO is a piece of Racha, lovingly brought to life through recipes passed down through generations
—keeping those roots alive and sharing them, one plate at a time.
Imeruli Khachapuri
Traditional round bread stuffed with triple cheese.
Georgian Shawarma
Choice of chicken, beef, or mixed meat wrapped in lavash, loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and green peppers. Finished with your choice of sauce: mayo, garlic, ketchup, or hot sauce.
Acharuli Khachapuri
Boat-shaped bread with triple cheese and egg yolk + butter on top.

As soon as you order, they start baking everything fresh! We tried the khinkali, imeruli khachapuri, and lobiani (if you like beans, this one’s a must—SO good). They even gave me a tarragon lemonade to try and it was surprisingly good. Super friendly vibe, amazing food, and definitely worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure!
